Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Shape the school year for K-12 students as a dedicated mental health advocate in an onsite contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year. Four opportunities are available for travel school psychologists who are passionate about fostering student growth and well-being. You'll collaborate with educators and families, delivering essential support at multiple school locations across Monroe County.
Key qualifications:
Current Michigan School Psychologist license required (please verify via the state database with your first and last name) Experience working in K-12 environments strongly preferred Expertise in conducting assessments, developing student intervention plans, and supporting educational teams Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work onsite at multiple locations Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teamsResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K-12 Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and appropriate interventions Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and direct support services to students Participate in data-driven problem solving and Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines This contract assignment offers travel school psychologists the opportunity to earn $120.00 per hour for the 2026-2027 school year (August 12, 2026 - June 2, 2027), working a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
