Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in the lives of students as a contract school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting a nearby educational community. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week (7-hour days), and part-time arrangements may be considered for candidates who can commit to full days and a consistent schedule. Both local professionals and travel SLPs are encouraged to apply; your expertise will be highly valued wherever you're coming from. As an onsite SLP, you will play an integral role for K-12 students, with caseloads thoughtfully assigned to match your strengths, preferences, and commute considerations. A current Michigan SLP license is required to step into this rewarding opportunity.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology licensure Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Willingness to work onsite in a school setting Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Flexibility for either full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time (consistent full days) schedules Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Adapt therapy approaches to fit individual preferences and optimize student outcomes If you're ready to help students develop essential communication skills and thrive both academically and socially, this role could be a perfect fit.
