Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students by providing essential psychological services within a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in collaborative educational settings and is passionate about fostering students' academic, behavioral, and emotional development.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required. Previous experience with elementary-aged children is highly valued. Proficient in conducting student evaluations and re-evaluations. Strong background in participating in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings. Ability to assist with crisis intervention as circumstances demand. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with educators, families, and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments and interpret results to support student success. Participate actively in MTSS meetings, collaborating on strategies for student intervention. Lead crisis intervention and support services as needed within the school community. Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective, personalized educational plans. Keep detailed documentation, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere. Enjoy meaningful compensation for your expertise, with hourly rates ranging from $45-$55 based on experience.
