Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract basis for the full school year, supporting students and educators in a welcoming academic environment near Ypsilanti, MI. This position offers an immediate interviewing process, ensuring a smooth and prompt start for those passionate about student well-being and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience in K-12 school settings is highly valued Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Solid understanding of special education laws and procedures Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write detailed reports Interpret assessment data and collaborate in eligibility determinations for special education services Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Promote safe, supportive, and inclusive learning spaces for all students Benefits of this
