Middle School High School School Psychologist | Duluth, Minnesota Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Duluth, MN Job Details Contract $28 - $85 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact on student success by providing expertise as a school psychologist in a vibrant K-12 environment. This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators, students, and families across elementary, middle, and high school settings near Duluth, MN.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited program in school psychology or related field. Current and valid Minnesota school psychologist license. Experience supporting students in K-12 schools (elementary, middle, and/or high school). Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies. Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred due to learning, behavioral, or emotional concerns. Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support student academic achievement and mental health. Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior management, and prevention strategies. Assist in the development and implementation of tiered supports and evidence-based interventions. Help create and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive school climate. Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and federal regulations.
