Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' educational and emotional growth across elementary, high school, and non-public school settings. This contract opportunity is based near Elk River, MN, offering a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with faculty and families to help students thrive. As a School Psychologist, you'll use your expertise to assess students, provide consultations, and actively participate in developing strategies that address diverse learner needs. You'll work a consistent, full-time schedule from 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, allowing for a balanced workday while engaging with a wide variety of age groups and educational environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current or eligibility for School Psychologist credentials in Minnesota (willingness to apply through the state's licensing system is required if not already credentialed) Strong understanding of best practices in psychological assessment, intervention, and support within school settings Proven ability to adapt approaches when working with elementary, high school, and non-public school students Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, administrators, and families Experience conducting assessments, developing evaluation reports, and participating in IEP meetings
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students across multiple schools Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychoeducational evaluations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans Offer crisis intervention and consultation to support student well-being and positive school climate Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical standards and state guidelines If you're ready to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students in a varied school environment and can be available for interviews on Tuesday, 6/16 (all day) or on Wednesday, 6/17 (8:00-10:30 AM or after 12:00 PM), take the next step and submit your application today!
