Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role where your expertise as a School Psychologist positively shapes the academic and emotional success of students across all grade levels. This contract position begins August 19, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week in one cohesive school building serving students from early childhood through grade 12.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a valid School Psychologist license as required by the state. Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program. Experience providing psychological support in an educational setting, preferably working with EC-12 student populations. Strong skills in assessment, behavioral intervention, and consultative collaboration with educators and families. Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct psychoeducational evaluations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide student support plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to foster positive educational outcomes for students. Deliver individual and group counseling services to promote students' social, emotional, and behavioral wellness. Provide crisis intervention and assist in the development of interventions for at-risk students. Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes. Offer consultative guidance on educational strategies to address learning differences and behavioral challenges.
