Key Experience & Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Experience in elementary and/or middle school settings is strongly preferred Solid understanding of multi-tiered systems of support, educational assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Do:
Conduct student assessments to identify needs and inform educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility presentations Promote positive behavior supports and a safe, inclusive school climate Offer consultation and professional development to staff on topics such as classroom management and mental health Maintain accurate, timely records according to state and federal guidelines This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in an engaged school community while enjoying a contract arrangement with part-time or full-time flexibility.
