Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students from early childhood through grade 12 as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. In this position, you'll provide comprehensive psychological services within a single building, fostering a supportive educational environment for learners of all ages. Leverage your expertise to make a positive difference, engaging with a collaborative educational team and working closely with teachers, families, and administrators. The school community is looking for a dedicated professional to start in August 2026 and continue through May 2027, working full-time hours each week.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in EC-12 school settings preferred Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for a diverse student population Participate actively in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings Recommend and implement evidence-based intervention strategies for individual students and groups Provide consultation to educators and families regarding student needs and best practices Support school-wide initiatives focused on wellness, behavior, and academic success within grades EC-12 Maintain thorough and accurate records, complying with state and federal guidelines This is your chance to work in a vibrant educational community, providing essential mental health and academic support to students at every grade level.
