Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a tangible impact across a diverse educational setting. In this full-time role, you'll serve students at an elementary, high school, and a non-public school, providing critical support and advocacy to foster positive learning environments. Your knowledge and compassion will help shape students' experiences and support their academic and emotional growth. Work schedule runs from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, offering a consistent full-time routine that supports both your professional passions and work-life balance. We're actively scheduling interviews for Tuesday, June 16th (all day) and Wednesday, June 17th (morning until 10:30 am or anytime after noon), making the application process smooth and accommodating.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Licensure as a School Psychologist or qualifications enabling licensure in Minnesota (willingness to apply through Minnesota's licensing system if necessary). Experience working within school environments, preferably K-12, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across various school levels. Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Effective communication, teamwork, and consultation experience with students, parents, educators, and administrators. Commitment to providing services in both public and non-public school settings, adapting strategies to meet diverse student populations.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments. Designing and implementing evidence-based interventions. Consulting with instructional staff and families to ensure holistic support. Participating in student support teams and contributing to IEP/504 processes. Advocating for student needs and academic success across varied school settings.
