Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their fullest potential as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Osseo, MN. Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold a valid School Psychologist certification or license. Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field required. Previous experience working with children and adolescents in an educational environment is highly valued. Proficient in assessment, intervention, consultation, and counseling within a school setting. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Familiarity with IEP processes, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and behavioral intervention plans desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, identifying academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans and support strategies. Provide direct counseling and intervention for students individually and in small groups. Support multi-disciplinary teams with data-driven recommendations and progress monitoring. Lead or participate in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives. Promote positive mental health and contribute to a safe, supportive school climate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
