Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity this fall as a School Psychologist, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade for a leading school district near Prior Lake, MN. This contract position is ideal for compassionate professionals eager to positively impact young learners while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. In this full-time, itinerant role, you'll provide essential psychological services across three schools, working to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Your expertise will be vital in promoting a healthy, supportive educational environment during leave coverage for the fall semester.
Key Qualifications:
Current Minnesota School Psychologist Certification required Experience supporting PreK-12th grade students preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and legal requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Collaborative, flexible approach to working with diverse teams and caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention and support plans Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student success Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed Participate in multidisciplinary teams for special education eligibility and services Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards Travel between three school sites within the same district Eligible candidates can expect compensation between $48 and $54 per hour. In addition, you may qualify for comprehensive healthcare benefits, as well as possible housing and meals/incidentals assistance during your contract.
