Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Ready to make an impact supporting students across all grade levels? This full-time, contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to provide leave coverage for the fall semester. Serving a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload, you'll work itinerantly across three locations, offering comprehensive psychoeducational services and collaborating with dedicated education teams.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Minnesota School Psychologist Certification (required) Experience working with PreK-12th grade student populations Strong assessment, counseling, consultative, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and manage varied caseloads Effective communication and documentation abilities Previous school-based or education-focused psychology experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and participate in eligibility determinations for special education services Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and student support teams to develop and implement strategies for student success Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student learning and mental health needs Maintain comprehensive records and adhere to district and state compliance requirements Enjoy a competitive compensation range of $48-$54 per hour with this role.
