Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist in a welcoming educational setting serving students from early childhood through 12th grade—all in a single, supportive building. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with dedicated educators and families, providing essential services to nurture student growth and success. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist credential or state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience providing psychological services to school-aged children Strong understanding of IEP development, special education assessments, and progress monitoring Skills in consultation, behavioral intervention, and counseling Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate and flexible with a commitment to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive reports Participate in meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive academic and social environments Consult with parents and offer strategies to help students succeed both academically and emotionally Support school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health and student well-being
