Licensed Therapist — Adult & Child/Adolescent Care With the Opportunity to Serve as a Clinical Trial Facilitator Billings Advanced Psychiatry, PLLC — Billings, Montana About Us Billings Advanced Psychiatry, PLLC is a physician-owned outpatient psychiatry practice led by Dr. Svetlana Yakov, MD, PhD, a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in treatment-resistant and interventional psychiatry. In addition to comprehensive psychiatric care, we operate a REMS-certified esketamine (Spravato) clinic and are an active clinical research site advancing novel, rapid-acting treatments for mental health conditions. We are a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to bringing leading-edge, evidence-based care to patients across Montana — including populations that have historically had limited access to advanced psychiatric treatment. The Opportunity We are hiring a Licensed Therapist to provide psychotherapy to adults and children/adolescents , with the unique opportunity to dedicate 1-2 days per week to serving as a study therapist/facilitator for adult patients in Phase 3 clinical trials of novel therapeutic agents for mental health conditions. This is an ideal role for a clinician who loves direct patient care and also wants a foot in the future of psychiatry — gaining hands-on experience in interventional and investigational treatments within a structured, well-supervised research environment. What You'll Do Clinical Care (primary) Provide individual psychotherapy to adult and child/adolescent patients Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning Collaborate closely with the prescribing psychiatrist and care team on coordinated, measurement-based care Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR Clinical Trial Facilitation (1-2 days/week) Serve as a study therapist/facilitator for adult patients in Phase 3 trials involving novel and rapid-acting therapeutic agents, including investigational and assisted therapy protocols Deliver preparation, monitoring/dosing-day support, and integration sessions in accordance with study protocols Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB requirements, and sponsor procedures Complete protocol-specific and GCP training (provided/supported by the practice) What We're Looking For Required Active, independent Montana license as an
LCSW, LCPC
in good standing Clinical experience and comfort working with both adult and pediatric/adolescent populations Strong diagnostic, documentation, and interpersonal skills Interest in interventional psychiatry and clinical research Preferred Prior experience with measurement-based care and validated rating scales (e.g., MADRS, PHQ-9, GAD-7) Existing GCP / human-subjects research certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience or training in therapy assisted or interventional therapy modalities Familiarity with treatment-resistant depression and rapid-acting interventions What We Offer A rare blend of meaningful clinical work and frontline clinical research experience Mentorship from a research-active, board-certified psychiatrist and Principal Investigator Supportive, collegial team and a modern, well-equipped clinical environment Paid protocol and GCP training to support your growth into the research role Competitive compensation: percentage-of-collections for clinical work (full billing and administrative support provided); clinical-trial facilitation compensated separately per study protocol.
