Clients include individuals experiencing cognitive and psychiatric disorders. The position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience towards a career in medicine and mental health. This position requires rigorous attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills, and flexibility and good judgment in rendering safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care. An appreciation of team-based patient care is also required.
Job responsibilities include:
  • Administer and score comprehensive batteries for clients experiencing medical/ psychiatric difficulties.
  • Document observations and test results in written form.
  • Communicate effectively with a team of neuropsychologists and other psychometrists.
  • Maintain current knowledge of tests and normative databases
  • Analyze and adapt work duties, including maintaining and ordering inventory of testing supplies.
Computer skills, including knowledge of basic office software, are required. A bachelor's degree is required. Strong preference given to candidates with an advanced degree in clinical psychology or related field or previous testing/ work experience, however comprehensive training is available for candidates with strong foundational skills . Full and part-time positions will be considered based on level of experience.
