Clients include individuals experiencing cognitive and psychiatric disorders. The position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience towards a career in medicine and mental health. This position requires rigorous attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills, and flexibility and good judgment in rendering safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care. An appreciation of team-based patient care is also required.
Job responsibilities include:
- Administer and score comprehensive batteries for clients experiencing medical/ psychiatric difficulties.
- Document observations and test results in written form.
- Communicate effectively with a team of neuropsychologists and other psychometrists.
- Maintain current knowledge of tests and normative databases
- Analyze and adapt work duties, including maintaining and ordering inventory of testing supplies.
