This full-time opportunity is located near Durham, NC, with in-person collaboration required for the duration of the school year. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive student assessments, providing direct psychological services, participating in multi-disciplinary teams, and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and administrators. As part of your role, you will create individualized education and behavioral intervention plans tailored to meet diverse student needs, offering crisis intervention and supporting the development of positive school climates.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Current and valid professional licensure as a School Psychologist Experience within K-12 school settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and multi-tiered systems of support Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Willingness to complete required fingerprinting and drug screening Flexibility to travel to multiple school sites as needed
Key Duties:
Complete psychoeducational evaluations and report findings Implement and monitor intervention plans Facilitate and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings Provide teacher and parent consultation Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines Ideal candidates are passionate about supporting student success and can adapt to dynamic educational environments.
