School Psychologist in Durham, NC Soliant - 3.9 Durham, NC Job Details Full-time $55 - $67 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a contract position dedicated to supporting students and schools as a School Psychologist. This full-time opportunity begins in late August 2026 and continues through early June 2027, with assignments in a vibrant academic environment near Durham, NC. Roles will be on-site, and you'll partner with educators and administrators to help students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in the school community's success.
Key Qualifications:
Professional Licensure as a School Psychologist (required) Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings is highly desirable Ability to complete required credentialing processes, including fingerprints and drug screen, promptly Strong communication, assessment, and consultative skills Collaborative mindset and flexibility for assignments across different schools
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments Consult with educators, parents, and professionals to support student learning and well-being Develop and implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans Participate in special education eligibility meetings and create individualized education recommendations Support students' social, emotional, and academic needs through counseling and preventative programming Maintain accurate and confidential student records following all ethical and legal guidelines Enjoy the benefit of a competitive weekly pay ranging from $55 to $67 per hour, reflecting your experience and skills.
