Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based position as a school psychologist, supporting K-12 students throughout an engaging district for the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy the variety and impact that comes with providing services across all 11 sites, fostering student growth and well-being while collaborating with dedicated educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) license, or in progress Licensed Psychological Associate credential required Experience in school settings and a strong understanding of K-12 developmental needs is highly valuedWhat You'll Do:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services to a diverse caseload of students in grades K-12 Conduct assessments, evaluate student eligibilities for services, and lead crisis intervention efforts Collaborate closely with the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team and educators to develop impactful supports for students Rotate between 11 schools within the district, providing expertise and building relationships at multiple campuses Serve as a key resource for both preventative and response-based mental health initiatives This contract role is a full-time commitment (37.5 hours per week) and presents a chance to make a district-wide difference in students' academic and emotional development.
