Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting in Aurora, NE. This role involves supporting student well-being, assessing learning and behavioral needs, and collaborating with educators and families to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student concerns. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results. Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, families, and staff. Experience with behavioral intervention strategies and counseling techniques preferred.
