Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school psychologist position is available to support elementary K-6 students in Bellevue, NE. This contract role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility to match your availability and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-6. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans. Provide counseling and support services to students to promote academic, social, and emotional well-being. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate educational plans. Assist in crisis intervention and mental health promotion within the school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience working with elementary school-aged children (K-6) preferred. Knowledge of Child Study Year (CSY) and Non-Standard Year (NSY) schedules is a plus. Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team focused on student success.
