Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Fremont, NE, for the 2026/2027 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established district alongside a team of nine other experienced school psychologists.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and development Collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to develop intervention plans and support services Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs Providing consultation and counseling services as needed Supporting Special Education evaluations and eligibility determinations Managing caseloads, with specific assignments to be finalized closer to the end of the current school year Qualifications and desired experience: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for K-12 education Experience with a broad range of assessment tools and intervention strategies Strong understanding of educational laws and regulations related to special education Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a psychological services team This position offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative professional environment with ongoing support from a team of colleagues.
