Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A reputable school in Grand Island, NE is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services that support student academic success and wellbeing. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in educational psychology while collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, evaluating student needs, developing individualized intervention plans, and providing counseling services as necessary. You will work closely with teachers and staff to promote a positive learning environment and help address behavioral and emotional challenges affecting students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Strong knowledge of psychological principles related to child development and learning Ability to design and recommend interventions tailored to student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educational teams Familiarity with special education regulations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
