School Psychologist - Gretna, NE Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Gretna, NE Job Details Contract 6 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Gretna, NE. This role involves working closely with students, families, and educators to provide comprehensive psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for K-12 students Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student needs Manage a caseload across all K-12 grade levels, providing timely assessment and consultation Assist in developing strategies and interventions aligned with students' educational goalsDesired Skills and Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families and educators Ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle multiple tasks efficiently New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated advisory support throughout the assignment This position offers the flexibility of a weekly paid contract and includes options for benefits.
