Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Enhance the educational experience of students by providing your expertise as a school psychologist in a dynamic contract position. This exciting opportunity focuses on supporting students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or higher) Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred In-depth knowledge of psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students' needs Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings as a team member Develop and implement individualized interventions and recommendations for students Provide counseling services to individuals and groups as needed Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to optimize student outcomes Offer crisis intervention and support within the school community Maintain thorough and accurate documentation according to state and district guidelines
