Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in an educational setting as a dedicated professional working closely with students, educators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of student development, where your expertise in school psychology helps remove barriers and promote academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active School Psychologist certification or relevant state license. Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families. Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret assessment data, and provide meaningful recommendations. Skilled in counseling, behavior interventions, and crisis management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform psychological and educational assessments for students referred by teachers and administrators. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Deliver direct intervention services, including individual and group counseling. Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and provide support for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges. Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies enhancing student wellbeing and academic performance. Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines.
