Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting elementary students in a well-rounded, collaborative school environment. This contract position for a school psychologist offers the opportunity to work onsite alongside educators and administrators to deliver essential psychological support for young learners. As a key member of the special education team, you'll help students overcome challenges and access the resources they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Active, valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start) Prior experience providing psychological services to children in a school setting, especially at the elementary level Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to professional ethics and student confidentialityKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation for students in elementary grades Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Assist in the identification and evaluation of students requiring special education Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other student support plans Implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations This is an onsite-only role providing full-time support throughout the school year, from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
