Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school district in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support their elementary K-6 student population. This position offers flexibility for qualified candidates interested in either full-time or part-time contracts, providing a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students. Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs). Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working in elementary school settings (K-6). Familiarity with both Current School Year (CSY) and Next School Year (NSY) schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage caseload in both full-time and part-time capacities.
