Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist position is available to support elementary students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering positive learning environments and promoting student well-being within a school setting. Opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time contracts, catering to various scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Advocate for student mental health and promote positive school climates
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in School Psychology with appropriate certification and licensure Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-6) Proficient in conducting assessments and interpreting results Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
