Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated School Psychologist in a full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with educators, students, and families to help promote student well-being and academic success in a dynamic school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Strong understanding of special education evaluation, IEP development, and relevant federal and state laws Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, teachers, administrators, and families Effective organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform instructional and program decisions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to evaluate students' needs Develop interventions and work directly with students individually or in groups to support social, behavioral, and academic growth Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to promote understanding and implementation of supports Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans Provide crisis intervention, as necessary, and participate in initiatives to improve student wellness Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely manner Why consider this role?
