Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist. Work full-time in a dynamic school environment near Claremont, NH, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in young lives. As part of a collaborative educational team, you will help foster positive learning outcomes and support the emotional and behavioral health of students throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Strong understanding of evaluation techniques, counseling practices, and special education law Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other professionals Compassionate, student-centered mindset
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and monitor student progress Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral planning as needed Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
