Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a vibrant New Hampshire community! A contract opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to provide essential support and expertise in an educational setting, working 30-35 hours per week. Your knowledge in assessment, intervention, and consultation will empower students and staff alike, enriching the lives of learners and contributing to a positive school climate.
Skills and Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and developing intervention strategies Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective educational and behavioral interventions Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and social development Contribute to eligibility meetings, individualized education programs (IEPs), and 504 plans Help design and implement school-wide prevention and intervention programs Maintain accurate records and follow ethical best practices in all areas of service delivery Enjoy the professional rewards of making a difference in students' growth and well-being, while collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.
