Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time school psychologist contract opportunity is now available supporting students across K-12 within a collaborative educational environment near Durham, NH. This position offers a 37.5-hour work week and the chance to work district-wide, providing a holistic approach to student support alongside a team of five seasoned psychologists. Whether you have a preferred age group, or thrive in a district-wide setting, flexibility is offered to accommodate your strengths and preferences.
Qualifications:
Current certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience with K-12 student populations is highly valued Strong expertise in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and IEP processes Knowledge of psychological assessments and counseling within educational settings Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative teamwork Ability to organize, document, and manage multiple case files efficiently
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments for students across the district Develop, contribute to, and participate in IEP meetings and processes Provide direct counseling and consultative support as needed Collaborate closely with a team of school psychologists and other educational staff Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Offer recommendations for support services and interventions that foster student success Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated school psychologist to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and well-resourced district.
