Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a supportive learning environment near Ossipee, NH. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and foster positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes for students.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments Proficient in developing and implementing intervention strategies Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and administrators Excellent communication, counseling, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological assessments to help identify student strengths and areas of need Offer recommendations for educational supports and behavioral interventions Collaborate on the creation and implementation of IEPs for eligible students Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being Consult with teachers and staff to create inclusive learning settings Serve as an advocate for students' academic and socio-emotional development Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements This position requires a commitment of 30-35 hours per week, allowing you to focus on meaningful connections and impactful work with students and colleagues.
