Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist working with K-12 students in a supportive, collaborative environment. This district-wide position offers 37.5 hours per week and the unique advantage of working alongside five other experienced school psychologists. Whether your passion lies with a particular grade level or you enjoy spanning all ages, flexibility is key—assignments can be adapted to focus on your strengths and preferred student groups.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Comprehensive understanding of school psychology principles and best practices Valid School Psychologist certification Experience conducting a range of assessments, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments Skill in developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students at various stages Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, faculty, and families Comfort working district-wide or specializing in a preferred grade range
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments for students K-12 Participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and fellow psychologists Deliver consultation and recommendations to support student success Provide crisis intervention and ongoing social-emotional support Maintain thorough, organized documentation and adherence to district and legal guidelines This is an exciting contract role for those looking to broaden their impact across a diverse school community with the support of a dedicated team.
