Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to provide essential support within various school settings in Portsmouth, NH, through a travel assignment. This role involves collaborating closely with educators, families, and students to promote psychological well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs. Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and interventions. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress. Monitor and document student growth and provide detailed reports. Facilitate professional development and training on topics related to student mental health.Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure. Experience conducting assessments and providing direct services in school settings. Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to special education.
