Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working full time in a contract role supporting students' academic and emotional success in a school-based environment near Walpole, NH. As a School Psychologist, you'll collaborate with educators, students, and families to promote mental health, implement interventions, and foster an inclusive environment. Key Qualifications:
Current certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data Strong understanding of child and adolescent development Ability to deliver counseling and crisis intervention services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Organizational skills and adaptability in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret findings for educational planning Develop, monitor, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans Provide direct counseling and support services to students Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify strategies addressing academic and behavioral challenges Participate in eligibility meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities Support school-wide initiatives around mental health, positive behavior, and academic success
