Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within educational settings. This position is based in Atlantic City, NJ, offering the chance to work across multiple schools in the area while gaining diverse experiences in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff. Provide counseling and intervention services to support students' social-emotional development. Consult with educators and families to address learning challenges and behavioral concerns. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic student support. Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting assessments and delivering interventions in a school setting. Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations. Flexibility and adaptability for travel between schools within Atlantic City and surrounding areas.
