Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional needs of students in a school setting located in North Bergen, NJ. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address behavioral and learning challenges. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive support strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant educational regulations.Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices.Location:
