Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type All Job Types Make a positive impact in the educational field this summer by bringing your expertise to a dynamic educational environment as a dedicated school psychologist or psychiatric nurse. This opportunity focuses on providing psychological and psychiatric support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from June 29 to July 23. Your skills will ensure students receive the specialized services they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
What We're Looking For:
Current credential as a School Psychologist, RN with psychiatric experience, or Public Health Psychologist Knowledge of school systems, special education settings, and ESY programming Experience conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing recommendations for student support Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborate on individualized education plans Flexibility to adapt to summer program schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for students participating in ESY Offer mental health support and interventions to address student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies for student success Consult with educators, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional confidentiality Monitor and review progress, providing updates to relevant stakeholders This is a fantastic opportunity to provide vital mental health and psychological services in an engaging summer setting.
