Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving as a School Psychologist, providing vital leave coverage for a thriving educational setting near Piscataway, NJ. This full-time position runs from September 1, 2026, through December 23, 2026, and is ideal for professionals eager to support students' well-being and academic success during a dynamic fall semester. You'll collaborate as a core member of the Child Study Team, working with approximately 40 students in grades 6-8. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in evaluating student needs, developing effective interventions, and supporting a positive school climate. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, allowing you to maintain balance and consistency throughout the assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid NJ School Psychologist certification required Experience in school psychology, particularly with middle school students Strong understanding of child development, assessment, and educational planning Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP development, counseling, and eligibility determination
Key Responsibilities:
