Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists to support educational teams in Ridgewood, NJ. This position focuses on assessing and addressing the psychological and educational needs of students within a school setting, contributing to their academic success and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, including cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Assist in the development of school-wide programs that promote positive mental health and learning environments Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsDesired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in New Jersey Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamLocation:
