Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a travel assignment in Trenton, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to support diverse student populations while gaining valuable experience in various school settings within the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws/regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel daily to different school locations within Trenton area
