School Psychologist - Wayne, NJ

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist position is available to support a high school located in Wayne, NJ. This contract role involves working three days per week, seven hours each day, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 13th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student academic and emotional development. Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to promote a positive learning environment. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.

Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working within a high school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
