Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Hobbs, NM. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for New Mexico (or eligibility) Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related area Experience conducting psychological and academic assessments Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS/RTI) Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify students' strengths and support needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective interventions Provide counseling and mental health support for students Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning as needed Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Contribute actively to IEP and student support meetings This contract position offers the opportunity to enhance your career while helping students achieve their fullest potential.
