Job Description

We're recruiting Forensic and Clinical Psychologists at the New Mexico Department of Health, Behavioral Health Institute in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Salary:
up to $191,200+ Ideal candidate will have: Experience with Interdisciplinary treatment plan assessments; Experience with preparing legal documentation; Experience with policies, procedures, and processes for patient care; Experience with guardianship appointments for patients. This does not include additional compensation accrued or paid for on-call service. License-eligible applicants may apply for these positions. Health professional loan-repayment program exists with New Mexico Higher Education Department. Hospital location approximately 65 miles from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and 75 miles from Taos, NM. 11 paid holidays and 2 paid personal days per year. Multiple medical coverage plans offered, along with dental and vision; 80% of healthcare premiums are paid by the state. Defined-benefit pension plan offered at 2.5% accrual rate with vesting after 5 years of employment. Licensed psychologists employed full-time at the state hospital are eligible for a $5,000 rural health care practitioner income tax credit.
