Job Description

Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Supporting a SPED population of approximately 500 students, you'll join a collaborative diagnostic team known for its nurturing culture and strong peer support. You'll be empowered to thrive, sharpen your skills, and contribute alongside committed professionals. You will serve three schools—all conveniently located on the district's west side—two elementary schools and one middle school, with no Pre-K students on your caseload. Your primary focus will be conducting evaluations and assessments, partnering closely with the team (including a per diem diagnostician and intern) to ensure that student needs are properly assessed and met for the upcoming school years. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification/licensing as an Educational Diagnostician Experience in conducting comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and compliance Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills Familiarity with PED documentation and willingness to submit all required materials throughout the hiring process
