Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist for the 2024/2025 school year, serving grades K-12 with a manageable caseload of 20-25 students, including some non-verbal students. This contract position is based in Santa Rosa, NM, offering a four-day workweek schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students K-12, focusing on various psychological and educational needs. Support students with mild to moderate challenges; the caseload does not include severe cases or students requiring voice output communication devices (VOCO). Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans. Provide counseling and evidence-based interventions to promote student well-being and academic success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed School Psychologist credential according to state requirements. Experience working with K-12 populations, including students with diverse learning and communication needs. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently within a school setting.
