Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, full-time opportunity as a School Psychologist, making a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year with a K-12 student population. This contract-based position, located near vibrant Las Vegas, NV, offers the chance to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth in a collaborative educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in K-12 settings preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and complete evaluations in a timely manner Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students ages K-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families Provide individual or group counseling to address social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Consult with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to promote student success and well-being Contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives Deliver crisis intervention and prevention services as needed throughout the school year Embrace the opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive, lasting difference in students' lives throughout the Las Vegas region.
