Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a school psychologist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time, contract position runs from August 10 through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact across all grade levels. Work in person alongside a dedicated team and contribute your expertise to foster positive learning environments. Ideal candidates will use their advanced skills to assess student needs, support academic and emotional growth, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure student success. You'll play a key role in developing intervention strategies, participating in IEP meetings, and helping students navigate school challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage cases, and create supportive, inclusive atmospheres will be highly valued.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid Nevada licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date Experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedures Excellent skills in assessment, counseling, and documentation Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to students Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student support Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with district and state guidelines This position offers the satisfaction of providing essential support to students throughout the school year in a diverse and engaging community.
